Description

AXA’s commercial team training area (AXA University) contacted us with the purpose of defining a new annual training strategy. The objective was to help them define changes in their area to increase the sales impact of new agents. Achieving this required helping the entire team align on objectives and the annual strategic plan.

The week began with an introduction from management and various training sessions that served as a foundation for the work.

What it solves

The goal of bettter was to try to achieve maximum alignment and clarity within the management team and to provide tools that would boost creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to solve those challenges and difficulties that the organization brought. We tried to help the team get out of their usual way of thinking so that the solutions provided angles that had not been considered until now.

bettter designed a work week with the team composed of different activities in a process that combined Design Thinking with other methodologies such as 4DX. We tried to structure it to help us transition from the definition of objectives to the definition of strategic initiatives. The workshop was defined in 4 different phases.

  1. Definition of direction of travel and crucial goal

  2. Challenges, opportunities, and prioritization

  3. Ideation of solutions

  4. Planning for implementation

How we will work

As is customary in bettter's way of working, the workshops combined co-creation sessions with training talks on topics designed either to generate knowledge about the tools used—Design Thinking and 4DX—or to inspire new ways of addressing challenges.

This approach provided participants with a prior framework that clarified the purpose of each activity and fostered more effective and creative participation. Additionally, the talks provided knowledge and tools with the intention that they would be incorporated into the team and could be used subsequently in an autonomous manner.

Activities were also carried out to create a relaxed atmosphere and strengthen relationships and communication between the different areas, thereby addressing and reducing the existing friction between them.

Part of the workshop was facilitated using Lego® Serious Play. This tool helped us to more clearly visualize the ideas and visions of the proposed solutions.
